Nur Ozkan Erbay, Media & Communications Coordinator

_FZ24583Ms. Ozkan Erbay started her career as a journalist in Istanbul, Turkey. During her six years of work with the nationwide daily newspaper Dünya, she covered special reports, conducted research and exclusive interviews on the domestic and international economy, trade and politics of Turkey. She represented Dünya in Turkey’s influential business organizations’ events, conferences and press meetings as well as in U.S. and European multi-national companies overseas. She previously worked as a research and executive assistant within the various departments of Turkish Embassy in Washington, D.C. During her work she analyzed and researched U.S. media, conducted news briefings, and helped host delegations and distinguished guests from Turkey and the U.S. Ms. Ozkan Erbay received her B.A. in Communications from Istanbul University and her Master’s degree in Political and International Journalism from Georgetown University. She is currently pursuing a certificate on International Studies from John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. She currently serves as the Washington Correspondent of USASABAH, a member of Sabah Media Group in Turkey. She writes news and analyses on American politics, global policy, and U.S.-Turkey relations. She also conducts exclusive interviews for Turkey’s prominent media outlets.
